Emily Coyne- Work Coach
Emily has several years of working extensively with young people and adults with learning disabilities and difficulties, particularly as the co-leader of Together At Group, otherwise known as TAG a social club (held at The Courtyard every Wednesday from 6 pm- 8.30 pm).
Holly Royle- Courtyard Manager
Holly is a talented and creative manager with has vast experience of running restautrants and pubs as well as teaching support, specialising in working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, including 'attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder' (ADHD). She has developed The Courtyard to be a training venue that allows people with support needs to thrive in a working environment.
Clive Tuck - Chief Executive Officer
Clive is the co-founder of The Hub and he has 25 years as a practitioner, manager and consultant in the fields of social care and special education. He is the co-founder of The Hub which was set up to meet the needs of vulnerable young people and adults with additional support needs. He was the Head of Additional Support at a local FE College and has been the Head of a School for primary and secondary aged pupils with Asperger's Syndrome. He was the lead National Consultant on the Transition Support Programme looking into the development of services for children making the transition into adulthood with additional support needs.
Stephanie Upton-Pittaway - Office Manager
Steph has extensive experience of office management and the use of ICT systems to support the efficient and effective running of all admininstration and financial activities within organisations. She is 'front of house' and will the voice you hear when you make contact with The Hub to handle all your enquiries.
The Hub also employs a number of trainees in paid employment on the same terms as all our staff and under the same employment terms and conditions.
We are also grateful to all our volunteers and also offer a number of Level 3 students work placements to support their development and learning. We are grateful for all their efforts to support our valuable work with our trainees.
Matthew Wheeler- Work Coach Assistant
Matt comes with a strong background in working with young people and aduts with learning disabilties and difficulties. He has worked previously with us as a volunteer and helps to run Together At Group (TAG) our evening social group. Matt has also worked in supported living services enabling people to live independently in the community.
Joe Knights - Work Coach
Joe has a significant youth work background, supporting young people with learning disabilities and difficulties,and was part of 'Raising Your Game' programme through Mencap. He has worked with many people with a range of groups where members have additional support needs, including learning disabilities, mental health and issues of challenging behaviour.
Tracey Davis - Work Coach
Tracey has several years experience of supporting students with learning disabilities and difficulties in a local FE College, where she has also had experience of Project Search which provides supported internships over a year at Yeovil District Hospital for young people with support needs to develop skills for the work place.
